Tommy Hilfiger has moved its fall campaign into one of New York's most storied addresses. The Tommy Hilfiger fall campaign, titled Only in New York, sets its refreshed take on American prep inside the Plaza Hotel, with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Blackpink singer Jisoo leading a cast drawn from sport, music and fashion. According to PVH, the brand's parent company, the collection is available now through the label's website, its stores and wholesale partners.
The Plaza is more than a backdrop for the shoot. Hilfiger lived at the hotel for over a decade, and the campaign leans on that history, framing the hotel as the place where the designer's New York life took shape. The setting also carries its own guest list from decades past, with PVH noting that Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones all stayed there.
A cast built from sport, music and fashion
Kelce appears as a guest in residence at the Plaza, a role that puts the football star at the center of the campaign imagery. He is joined by Gigi Hadid, described by the brand as the ultimate Tommy Girl, alongside Jisoo, who serves as a global ambassador for the label. The wider cast includes DJ Peggy Gou, tennis player Frances Tiafoe and former basketball star Carmelo Anthony, with Tommy Hilfiger and his wife Dee also appearing.
Kelce said the shoot captured the kind of surprise New York is known for, with a cast that reflects the energy of the city. Jisoo, for her part, said returning to the Plaza felt meaningful and familiar, a place tied to earlier chapters of her work with the brand. Her history with the label runs through several New York moments, including an open-top bus tour past city landmarks and a runway show staged aboard a decommissioned Staten Island ferry.
Jisoo's looks in the campaign show how the label is restyling its signatures for women this season. One outfit pairs a pleated heather skirt with a burgundy wool-and-leather varsity jacket worn over a crisp white button-down. Another layers a softly padded cable-knit down jacket with a heritage varsity check scarf, a pleated skirt and tubular knee boots. A third look puts a camel jacket over an ivory cable-knit polo, finished with a warm caramel skirt and white leather loafers.
Prep, restyled for the season
The collection itself follows the brand's Prep Made Current vision, updating American classics with richer textures and more refined craftsmanship. Cable knit sweaters, rugby shirts and varsity jackets anchor the lineup, while outerwear takes a larger role through wool pea coats, car coats and softly padded styles built for the shift between seasons. FashionUnited reports that the range keeps collegiate staples in play while loosening their ties to campus life, so the pieces read as everyday clothing rather than costume.
The Plaza campaign follows a spring campaign shot at Hilfiger's Palm Beach home, a deliberate change of scenery from private residence to public landmark. Where the spring story was domestic and sunlit, the fall story is urban and social, built around guests arriving, crossing paths and sharing the same grand address. That contrast is the point: the clothes stay rooted in prep, but the setting gives them a different mood.
The campaign also shows how much of modern fashion marketing now runs on casting. A single shoot has to speak to several audiences at once, and the Plaza lineup does that work openly: a football star for sports fans, a K-pop ambassador for global pop listeners, a DJ for club culture, a tennis player and a basketball great for the sports pages, and a supermodel for the fashion press. Each name brings a different following to the same rack of cable knits and varsity jackets, and the hotel setting gives those separate audiences one shared backdrop.
The seasonal turn fits a wider fall fashion moment on these pages, from chocolate brown's rise as a neutral to the knit-first winter drop from Gap and Victoria Beckham. Garage reports that the Hilfiger collection sticks to American classics while giving familiar silhouettes a seasonal update through richer textures and considered layers.
For shoppers, the timing lines up with the point in the year when coats and knitwear move to the front of the closet. The Tommy Hilfiger fall campaign arrives as retailers push their cold-weather ranges, and its cast gives the label a way to reach football fans, K-pop listeners and fashion followers in a single frame. The collection is on sale now, with the Plaza imagery rolling out across the brand's channels.
