Diljit Dosanjh is coming home. The Punjabi singer and actor has revealed the India dates for the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour, a seven-city run that brings one of the biggest live spectacles in Indian music back to stadiums across the country. The India leg opens in Delhi at the start of November and rolls through the month and December, giving fans across the country a chance to see him on home turf.

The announcement landed on social media this week and was picked up across the entertainment press. According to Rolling Stone India, the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour will stop in Delhi, Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh. Six of the seven stops have confirmed dates and venues, while Chandigarh is listed as the closing stop with details still to come. The tour is co-produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live along with Live Nation, the same setup that carried the show across Australia and North America.

Here is the schedule as announced. The run kicks off on November 1 at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, then moves to Indore on November 15 at C21 Estate. Ahmedabad follows on November 21 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, before the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour heads to Mumbai on November 27 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course and Bengaluru on November 29 at the NICE Grounds. Lucknow hosts a show on December 5 at the 19th National Jamboree Ground, and Chandigarh closes the run with its date and venue to be revealed.

The stadiums behind the spectacle

Ahmedabad was always going to be the landmark stop. Dosanjh announced it as the first India date of the tour during his Wembley Stadium concert in London on September 12, telling the crowd he wanted a Punjabi artist to perform at the same Narendra Modi Stadium that had hosted a sold-out Coldplay concert. A sellout there would fill a venue with a one hundred thirty-two thousand capacity, which Rolling Stone India reported as the figure Dosanjh expects for the night.

That stadium-sized ambition is consistent with how the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour has played internationally. Filmfare reported that the world tour began with shows in Australia before moving to North America, where the singer performed at venues including Madison Square Garden, Rogers Centre and Chase Centre. In September he became the first Punjabi artist to headline London's Wembley Stadium, and the sold-out show featured his biggest hits including G.O.A.T., Lover, Hass Hass and Born to Shine.

Tickets, pre-sale and setlist

Fans planning to go should move quickly. According to Dainik Jagran, a limited pre-sale for RuPay credit card holders began on October 6 at noon, with general sales to follow through BookMyShow. The Ahmedabad concert was already listed on the platform ahead of the announcement, confirming the Narendra Modi Stadium as the venue. As with his previous tours, pricing is expected to vary by city and seating tier, and the stadium shows are likely to sell out fast.

The setlist for the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour has leaned on the hits that made him a global name. Concertgoers can expect chart-toppers such as G.O.A.T., Ikk Kudi, Lalkara, Lover, Five Taara, Case and Water, alongside newer material from his recent releases. Those who have followed his live shows describe a production built for stadiums: high-energy choreography, a full band, and the kind of crowd singalongs that have become his trademark.

Why this homecoming matters

This is not Dosanjh's first big Indian tour. His Dil-Luminati India Tour in 2024 was originally announced as a ten-city run before demand pushed it to fourteen performances across thirteen cities. The Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour follows that run, arriving after a stretch in which his profile has grown through music, live performance and film work.

Punjabi music has spent the past decade moving from a regional genre to a global sound, and Dosanjh has been at the front of that wave. A stadium tour that stretches from Delhi to Bengaluru shows how far the sound has traveled. For younger fans who grew up streaming his tracks, the Diljit Dosanjh Aura tour brings that journey full circle.

With Chandigarh's details still pending and more announcements expected in the coming weeks, the seven-city plan may yet expand. For now, fans across the country have dates to mark and, if the pre-sale rush is any indication, a race to secure tickets for what is shaping up to be the biggest concert run of the season.
