James Harden scored 23 points in his Cleveland Cavaliers debut, leading the team to a 132-126 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, February 8, 2026, at Golden 1 Center. The win extended Cleveland's record to 35-16 while sending the Kings to their 12th consecutive loss.\n\nHarden, acquired Wednesday from the LA Clippers for Darius Garland and a second-round pick, shot 7-for-13 from the field, including 5-for-8 from three-point range, with 8 assists and 3 rebounds in 34 minutes.\n\n'I just gotta figure out where I fit in,' Harden said postgame. 'That won't be hard at all. I told the guys just do what you all do, and I'll figure it out. I'm good enough to figure it out and insert myself in. But you know, no practices. This is my first time playing 5-on-5 since about a week ago, so it's a little rusty.'\n\nDonovan Mitchell led all scorers with 35 points (12-of-22 FG, 6-of-11 3PT), including 29 in the second half after the Kings took a 96-93 third-quarter lead. Jarrett Allen added 29 points and 10 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season.\n\n'When you have a guy who's established like that... it takes that little bit of -- not awkwardness because I've known him, but it's one of those things when you're trying to figure it out,' Mitchell said. 'It took a half to be like, OK. It's a testament to him, it's a testament to our group.'\n\nNique Clifford scored 30 points for Sacramento (18-33), while Russell Westbrook added 21 points and 9 assists against his former team.
