It is the kind of endurance content both creators have made their signature. Speed has built his name on stunts that escalate fast: racing professional athletes, jumping over cars, taking an RKO live at a WWE show. Cenat's specialty is the completion marathon, streams that run until the game is finished, no matter how long that takes.

These marathons have become the defining format of both channels this year. Cenat just finished a Wolverine marathon that went live on September 15 on both Twitch and YouTube and took 15 hours to complete. Earlier this month, Cenat publicly backed him for the 2026 award, saying Speed "got it" and that the trophy should go to whoever "shifted the streaming culture." On stream, Cenat ran through Speed's year: broadcasts across multiple countries in a single stream, a performance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony, and a collaboration with WWE.
