The Fenty Beauty CASETiFY collection dropped on Wednesday, and it turns your phone into a pocket-sized makeup bag. Rihanna's beauty brand has teamed up with the tech accessories label on a limited-edition range built around one idea: keep your lip gloss and setting powder snapped to the back of your phone so you never dig through a purse again.
According to TheIndustry.beauty, the global launch is a twenty-nine-piece collection that includes sixteen CASETiFY-exclusive products, from protective phone cases to MagSafe accessories, straps and charm hooks.
The hero piece: a two-in-one holder
The star of the drop is the On The Go Essentials MagSafe 2-in-1 Holder. It is a silicone accessory in Fenty's Cocoa Nude shade that attaches the brand's Invisimatte Instant Setting + Blotting Powder and its Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer to the back of a phone.
Beauty Packaging describes the idea as a clutter-free touch-up kit that "eliminates bulky makeup bags." The holder is MagSafe-compatible, so it clicks on magnetically instead of needing glue or a special case.
Think of it as the beauty version of a card holder. Gloss on one side, blotting powder on the other, and both within reach in the time it takes to flip your phone over.
Cases, straps and the Rihanna doodle
The rest of the range is built for mixing and matching. According to Beauty Packaging, there is a Cocoa Nude Ripple Case, shatterproof and smudge-free Mirror Cases designed for instant makeup checks, and a Rope Crossbody Strap that can carry the Mini Gloss Bomb keychain.
Printed cases lean into a street-art graffiti look blended with soft nude and metallic tones, finished with Rihanna's signature hand-drawn lip doodle. A Fenty logo charm hook gives you one more way to hang your favorite products off a bag or phone.
The Fenty Beauty listing for the logo case in Japan describes a granite frame with a built-in mirror, four point nine feet of drop protection, and compatibility with MagSafe and wireless charging. It is offered for a range of recent iPhone Pro models.
Why wearable beauty is having a moment
This is not a one-off stunt. Rhode introduced its Lip Case in February of twenty twenty-four, a silicone phone case designed to hold a Peptide Lip Treatment, and TheIndustry.beauty reports it sold out within fifteen minutes of launch. Rhode has since added a MagSafe Snap-On Lip Case that works the same way the new Fenty holder does.
Other brands are chasing the same habit. Laneige's JuicePop Box lip tint, launched in January, has a built-in ring for attaching it to bags, while Touchland sells silicone cases that clip its Power Mist hand sanitiser to bags. The trend has even reached the runway: at Givenchy's spring and summer twenty twenty-seven show, mirrored compacts were attached to belts and lipsticks were styled as hair clips.
Part of the appeal is simple. Most women's clothing has tiny pockets or none at all, so products that hang off a phone or strap solve a daily annoyance while doubling as a style flex.
What it means for the brands
For CASETiFY, the project opens a brand-new beauty category. For Fenty Beauty, it creates a new route to shoppers beyond traditional cosmetics counters. Rihanna launched the label in twenty seventeen with Kendo Brands, the LVMH-owned beauty developer, and it has since grown to include Fenty Skin, Fenty Eau de Parfum and Fenty Hair.
The collection went live through casetify.com, the CASETiFY Co-Lab app and CASETiFY Studio locations. Co-lab collections are excluded from promotions and discount codes, according to CASETiFY's help page, so do not expect a sale code to shave anything off.
The takeaway
If you love a limited drop, this one rewards speed, since collaborations like this tend to sell through quickly. If you are more of a casual shopper, the bigger story is the shift itself: beauty is moving out of the makeup bag and onto the things we already carry every minute of the day.
