OpenAI has officially launched a new feature called ChatGPT Library, allowing users to store personal files and images directly in OpenAI's cloud storage for easy access across conversations. This significant update is now rolling out to Plus, Pro, and Business subscribers worldwide, except in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, according to BleepingComputer.

The ChatGPT Library feature automatically saves files that users upload during conversations, creating a persistent storage system that extends beyond individual chat sessions. According to OpenAI's documentation, the Library automatically saves uploaded and created files, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and images, in a dedicated, secure location so they can be easily accessed later for reference in future conversations.
