MICO is taking his biggest step yet as a live act. The 23-year-old Filipino Canadian singer has announced the MICO In Between Tour, a 29-date global headline run that kicks off January 18, 2027 in Barcelona and then carries him across Europe before moving to the United States in February. The run marks the largest headline tour of his career so far, and tickets go on sale to the public later this month, according to the tour announcement reported by antiMusic. It is a sharp jump in scale for an artist whose rise happened almost entirely online.
From Toronto uploads to a global headline run
MICO built his audience the way most artists of his generation do, by posting music online and letting listeners find him. He started out as a teenager with a microphone in his bedroom, performing covers in online communities and releasing music independently, and that slow build turned into a devoted fanbase that calls itself "amicos," according to Ticketmaster. Live Nation describes him as a genuine internet phenomenon, a Canadian alt-pop singer whose community has grown far past the online spaces where he first found them. In June 2026 he released his debut album, When the lights turn on, through Columbia Records, after signing with the major label. The record blends the hook-heavy pop-punk nostalgia of the 2000s and 2010s with modern alt-pop, hyperpop and alternative sounds, and it documents the emotional mess of growing up in real time, from heartbreak and identity to the gap between how life looks online and how it actually feels. Across the project he keeps returning to one question, what happens when the life you knew starts to feel different.
The numbers behind the rise are striking. MICO has pulled in more than 100 million global streams, scored a Canadian radio hit with "cut my hair," and earned a JUNO nomination for "HOMESICK," according to Ticketmaster. His breakout EP, Internet hometown hero, introduced the version of alt-pop rock that now fills his setlists and gave him a foothold well beyond Toronto. What separates him from other internet-born singers is how directly the songs speak to listeners his own age, kids who grew up posting their lives and are now figuring out who they are when the feed goes quiet. That theme gives the MICO In Between Tour its name, and it is the thread he will carry onto much bigger stages, from theaters in London to halls across the American South.
Tour dates and when tickets go on sale
The MICO In Between Tour opens with a long European stretch: Barcelona, Paris, Cologne, Munich, Prague, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Manchester, Glasgow, London and Dublin all appear on the itinerary, according to The Concert Chronicles. The run then crosses to the United States in February, with dates listed on Ticketmaster in Carrboro, Charlotte, Charleston, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Birmingham, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Cleveland, and it continues through March. Live Nation lists the Antwerp stop at Trix on January 30, while London gets the Roundhouse and Paris gets La Cigale, two rooms that signal how far his drawing power has come. Every stop on the MICO In Between Tour follows the same staggered sale schedule. Fanclub and artist presales begin October 13, with a local presale following and general onsale on October 16.
For a singer who spent the past year playing sold-out headline dates across North America and Europe, the MICO In Between Tour is the moment the scale catches up with the demand. The timing also closes out the When the lights turn on era, which began with the June album release and stretched through a year of near-constant touring. MICO told his followers the new tour gathers the music and moments that have defined his journey so far, and he framed it as both a celebration of everything behind him and a starting point for whatever comes next. After years of growing an audience one upload at a time, the singer from Toronto is about to find out what those songs sound like in rooms on two continents, and his amicos will be there to sing every word back.
