Michelle Branch Kicks Off Sold-Out Everywhere and Back Again Tour

Michelle Branch kicked off her sold-out Everywhere and Back Again tour on Sunday evening in Seattle at The Showbox, opening a career-spanning run that celebrates her 25 years in music. The 90-minute-plus performance launched Branch's first headline run behind her forthcoming EP Everywhere and Back Again, arriving November 6 via BMG, and it sold out nationwide within one week of its announcement. The speed of that sellout, which left thousands of fans in queues and on waitlists and prompted Branch to add a second leg for 2027, is a reminder that early-2000s pop rock never really went away. Her 21-song set leaned heavily into Hotel Paper and her breakout 2001 record The Spirit Room, opening with Drop in the Ocean before moving through Find Your Way Back and Breathe. Branch treated the crowd to a new song called With Every Heartbeat, which she has played at previous performances but has yet to record, and performed The Game of Love, her Grammy-winning single with Santana, which also gets a facelift on the upcoming EP. Branch is celebrating 25 years in music by revisiting the songs that first introduced her to audiences, this time from the perspective of an artist whose life and career have changed around them.

The day after the Seattle concert, Branch released a newly reimagined version of Goodbye to You featuring Maren Morris, the second confirmed track from the Everywhere and Back Again EP. The official music video adds another early-2000s connection by bringing Kristin Cavallari into the story: starring Branch, Morris and Cavallari, the video recreates the memorable prom sequence from Laguna Beach, where Goodbye to You accompanied a key musical moment during the show's first season. The Everywhere and Back Again tour and the EP are deliberately intertwined, with the stage show previewing reworked recordings that drop on November 6.

A Nostalgia Project Built on New Collaborations

The eight-track EP reaches across Branch's catalogue with new versions of Everywhere, Breathe, You Get Me, All You Wanted and Are You Happy Now, alongside the two collaborations and a remix of The Game of Love. That track was newly recorded by New Radicals and Michelle Branch, reuniting Branch with New Radicals frontman and original songwriter Gregg Alexander for their first collaboration since the song's original 2002 recording. Branch's career began when she signed with Madonna's Maverick Records at 17. The Spirit Room followed in 2001 and eventually sold three million copies worldwide, earning double-Platinum certification in the United States. Branch subsequently teamed with Jessica Harp as The Wreckers before returning to solo releases. Where the Everywhere and Back Again Tour Goes Next

Following Seattle, the Everywhere and Back Again tour continues on Tuesday, September 29 in Portland at the Crystal Ballroom before heading to San Francisco for two nights at The Castro on October 1 and 2. The fall run continues through Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Boston, New York and Chicago before wrapping November 13 in Lexington, Kentucky. Branch has partnered with PLUS1, with $1 from every ticket benefiting The ALS Association. The Everywhere and Back Again tour resumes in February 2027 for another run that includes two nights at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and return engagements at The Wiltern and Beacon Theatre.
